Yeah, I had a tremendous time shooting in Nebraska. I like that state a lot, all over it.
I was at a photo shoot, and I was wearing a cross necklace that my mom bought me, and somebody made a joke like, 'Why are you wearing a cross? Like you would be religious.' And then they took it away. I was really affected by that. The whole thing made me realize that I do want a cross with me at all times.
A statement necklace glams up any outfit without feeling like too much.
Putting a needle on a record is almost like you're making a commitment to listening to something.
There's, like, a dark needle or a nail that lives at the back of all of our heads, and that's your fear.
It's a clique that I've never been a part of. It's not like I identify them in a negative way.

My songs are like cheap Neil Young copies.
I'm a fan of music, some rock music. But I like many types of music. But I suppose a kind of longstanding love of specific bands would be Radiohead, Wilco, Neil Young, Tom Waits, REM.
I've been to Nepal, but I'd like to go to Tibet. It must be a wonderful place to go. I don't think there's anything there, but it would be a nice place to visit.
I'll admit, I like to be the aunt who spoils my nephews rotten.
I don't believe in nepotism. I don't much like the idea of parents who interfere.
I loved school. I studied like crazy. I was a Class A nerd.
I like funny guys and those, for some reason, tend to be nerdy guys.
In the 1880s, a weedy Easterner named Owen Wister had something like a nervous breakdown. Wyoming, with its wide-open spaces and healthy pursuits, was prescribed as a cure. Wister was immediately smitten by the taciturn cowboys and the rules imposed upon them by the cattle barons.
