I did not start hunting until later in life. When I was a kid growing up in Pennsylvania, my dad worked at a steel mill, and we didn't have the means to buy guns or take off and go hunting. But I loved being outdoors. I built tree stands and ground blinds in the woods and pretended that I was hunting.
One of my favorite games of all time was on Nintendo 64 - 'NFL Blitz.' I don't know why, I just loved that game - being able to hit people after the play and stuff was always fun.
I started blogging a decade ago because I like blogging. Writing's a kind of lonely thing to do, and I liked the idea of demystifying the process because I loved it as a kid and teenager and as somebody who wanted desperately to write.
