On the crossroads of future most good friends lose themselves to an eternity of regrets. Most of us lose connections unknowingly thinking that it is only natural until we realize the deceit in our understanding and end up craving for something we put to rest a long time ago. Thus begins a morbid curiosity within our conscience.
I wish to spend a lifetime near a lighthouse where loneliness will be the glimmer of luminous prancing upon ocean waves… rising and falling only for my breathing.
THE GOOD LIFE requires that we take pleasure in new things; A GOOD LIFE requires that we take pleasure in moments. To enjoy THE GOOD LIFE we have to get ahead; to enjoy A GOOD LIFE we have to make the trip worthwhile. THE GOOD LIFE is supported by feeding our pocketbooks; A GOOD LIFE is supported by feeding our souls.
Energy may be the element that unites Body (form), mind (thought) and consciousness. All three can thus exchange input and output. Additionally, all can freely influence this field. This readily allows energy to manifest. These are flowing frequencies that flourishes in a dimension of oneness.
Excessive thinking and more so attachment to thoughts dominate our daily activities. But why? The mind thinks. But you must not. It is a choice. Remember. You are not your thoughts.
The rain reminds him that one travels to sacred places in order to awaken that which lies sleeping within. He journeys on this path not to escape the world, but to enter it more deeply. Sometimes that is the only way we can open the doors to our own hearts, to realize that the whole of the earth lives inside the human heart.
Sometimes I have trouble telling my dreams from reality. The farther I travel from some experience, the more unsure I am that it actually happened. Just like a dream, the closer I am to it, the more sure I am that it's real.
From my low perch, I watch the world as it passes by on these dirty side streets. There are no westerners in this corner of the city. Just locals going about their business. Weighing out brightly colored spices, walking back from the fish market, stopping at the paan shop, socializing over tea. Old men in lungis and flip-flops walking hand in hand and dirty-faced children who are all bright smiles and wild eyes. I am comfortable here. Sitting on this board, in this tiny chai stall, hidden away from the recognizable world. For the moment, I have disappeared.
Friedrich Nietzsche said “God is dead”. Call Jesus the only son of god and god dies, call Muhammad the last messenger of god and god dies. No god ain’t fucking dead yet. God doesn’t die until the last man walks on earth, god doesn’t die untill some primitive life swims on a puddle. And one day, even if life completely disappears from existence, god will find some other way. God knows how to beget sons and daughters. God knows how to animate his messages.
In all that we lose, we rediscover a hidden part of ourselves. Loss is a road toward self discovery because it is only when we are stripped back to nothing, that we realise how truly valuable we are.
