As individuals, we hardly have any control over the world. At best, what we can do is try controlling ourselves.
Control Your Own Destiny or Someone Else Will
There is only one you for all time. Fearlessly be yourself.
Can you imagine the number of events and choices that had to occur since the birth of the Universe leading to the making of you (or anyone for that matter) just exactly the way you are! So, you, me and each one of the several billion humans is as special, in our own way!

We are too busy trying to be someone else, that we reject others for being themselves.
Don't get too comfortable in your comfort zone! By giving in to the situations, you clamp your own wings!
Humans were always trying to fit in. Many of them didn’t feel like they belonged. When someone came along and was brave enough to show the truth of who they were, flaws and all, it could inspire others to accept themselves as they were.
Instead of going out and looking for someone successful who could serve as a role model and guide your path to success, be yourself and inspire yourself to achieve that which you always wanted to achieve.
Don’t get discouraged or compare yourself to people. Focus on improving yourself each day, slowly but surely.
In some cases, it is not the person that has changed, but their decision not to be themselves.
Some people allow you to be yourself when they are with you. They are magic!
You’re only responsible for yourself, Jess. And that’s the only person you can control. Other people will either get it or they won’t but you can’t define yourself by their opinions.
At the end of the day, it’s your life. If you turn out good, the world celebrates you and with you (not minding how you achieved it). If bad, they abandon you (even if they gave you the advice that led you to doom). Just be you and follow your heart.
Remember you, too, are a beautiful swan.
Big goals provide the road map for our lives, the compass that tells us we’re moving in the right direction.
Let your fear of regret be stronger than your fear of failure.
When we set goals that feel safe and achievable, we are caving in to our own preconceived notions of what we are capable of.
Have you ever heard of SMART goals? It’s basically the idea that your goals should be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Bound. Meaning, you should know exactly what can actually accomplish; it should be meaningful to you; and it should have a deadline.
It’s an act of courage whenever you make the decision to accept responsibility for every choice and decision you make.
