I do not write about love as if I have invented it. I write about love because thoughts of you inspire self-forgetfulness. And because writing about you gives birth to a star. These stars sit inside me where there was once darkness.
Reading poetry is like undressing before a bath. You don't undress out of fear that your clothes will become wet. You undress because you want the water to touch you. You want to completely immerse yourself in the feeling of the water and to emerge anew.
Speak to me: I will spend my lifetime trying to understand you.
Do not give them a candle to light the way, teach them how to make fire instead. That is the meaning of enlightenment.
Forget your voice, sing! Forget your feet, dance! Forget your life, live! Forget yourself and be!
