I started as a playwright. Any sort of scriptwriting you do helps you hone your story. You have the same demands of creating a plot, developing relatable characters and keeping your audience invested in your story. My books are basically structured like three-act plays.
You have to continue to hone your craft.
Disagreement on issues doesn't mean 'dissension.' All it means is that honest men can differ in their approach. You lay out your positions, and president makes a decision.
The law courts must appear as a threatening gesture toward secret vice. The bank must declare: here your money is secure and well looked after by honest people.
You have to be OK with your own fears. If you're an honest person, you'll make mistakes, but that's when the most interesting things happen.
I think you're running into a lot of trouble if your idea of foreplay is, 'Brace yourself honey, here I come!'
I suppose writing nonfiction did prepare me for writing fiction. Whenever you write anything, you're honing your skills for writing anything else.
Honor your daughters. They are honorable.
Start your week off right by getting back to what is really important - honoring God.
Act well your part, there all the honour lies.
I've done so many jobs because I've had to, not because I've wanted to. And it's honourable to do a job because you need to feed your children, and maybe there is also something in it for your development as an actor. But only up to a point.
Any time you're honoured by your home, it's a bigger deal than most.
You've got to quit lowering your standards. Set your requirements up front so when a guy hooks you, he has to know this is business.
Having an actual income can expand your romantic horizons toward the more appealing end of the spectrum.
You cannot control the primitive urges and hormones that drive your eating behavior.
Try and stay away from dairy - especially if you're a woman! It's really hard on your hormones.
What basically happens is your hormones get out of whack. Because of the stress in your life your body says, 'I need more hormones.' So, your hormones are trying to produce and produce and produce, and it's even more stressful and it is this wicked cycle.
Any time you play your horn, it helps you. If you get down, you can help yourself even in a rock 'n' roll band.
If you don't live it, it won't come out your horn.
You are an instrument if you understand your voice and how to use it - this sound, that sound and certain ranges and different pitch. Within that I try to find a rhythm and play the voice as if it was a horn.
