To say nothing is saying something. You must denounce things you are against or one might believe that you support things you really do not.
So it is said, for him who understands Heavenly joy, life is the working of Heaven; death is the transformation of things. In stillness, he and the yin share a single Virtue; in motion, he and the yang share a single flow.
If you must really change yourself, if you must really transform personally, you must feel that urge from within you. Any attempt at “merely wanting to change”, will be yet another resolution that will soon be broken and discarded, forgotten. And for the need to change to arise from within you, please spend quality time looking at the futility of clinging on to all those factors, those excuses you give yourself, that hold you back from changing. Once you understand the futility of clinging on to your self-limiting beliefs, you will change – your current realities and your Life – in ways in which you can’t even fathom just now!
Similar to a butterfly, I've gone through a metamorphosis, been released from my dark cocoon, embraced my wings, and soared!
It’s not the world that enslaves me. Rather, it’s my attitude about the world as positioned against the rather faltering belief that I can change it. And when that belief is firmly rooted in a relentless thankfulness that I have both the privilege and the gifting to do exactly that, I can know that I will never be a slave to my attitude, which is one of the greatest acts of liberation that I will ever experience.
The wilderness journey is about transformation. For you, it could be a personal, spiritual, or professional drought. A desert season of confusion, frustration, and unproductivity. It's an in between stage. Something significant has ended or begun. Yet it provides opportunity for expansion, wisdom, and joy.
