I think there's so many points of view that you want to make sure your stories are being told from men and women... you get all of the different backgrounds. You don't want every story being told from the same point of view. So just for better storytelling, I'm like, 'Yes, please, bring some more ladies on.'
Diversity is not a skin thing, necessarily. Diversity is you have people around the table who have different backgrounds and different experiences and think differently.
There are a lot of different beliefs for tightening up your core. I think just being conscious of it and being aware to engage your muscles will help any woman's tummy get in shape.
When you're shooting you go to references in your mind. You think about how you should stand in these particular clothes, or how you should move. You think about the different characters you're playing, really.
I admire directors so much, I find them incredible: they manage such a huge number of people of different characters, think of the money involved.
I don't think there is just one Louis Vuitton woman. That is why, for the fall/winter 2011 show, I loved the idea of lots of different characters - a wife, a mistress, a girlfriend - stepping out of the row of hotel elevators.
I think a lot of people have a problem with the fact that I've adopted an African child, a child who has a different color skin than I do.
I think anytime you can show different colors and portray something that you haven't had a chance to do is always really refreshing as an actor.
I think the media can definitely show more diversity - different sizes of women, different colours of women, just more diversity in general.
I think that Mexican-American kids live in a global world. It's not even bi-, it's multi-. You know, for those of us who grew up with different countries on our block, different nationalities, you know, we moved into multiple worlds.
I think it was that we were really seasoned musicians. We had serious roots that spanned different cultures, obviously the blues.
If you think of any strange fusion with bachata, most likely, we've done it. It's bachata mixed with different elements. We don't follow any style.
I think racing and riding are two different elements of cycling. You either want to or not depending on what you want to get out of it.
I think, overwhelmingly, Americans would agree that if you're going to come into our country, you have to accept the fact that people are allowed to practice different faiths and lifestyles, without fear of violence, without fear of being literally oppressed or subjugated. I don't think that's something any reasonable person would disagree with.
I think there's really healthy ways to segue into different roles and different genres. I'm not completely opposed to shaving my head and doing something crazy.
I think that what appeals to me in my work is having the opportunity to inhabit different genres and so to reach different audiences.
I think I have allowed my voice to experiment with the different genres. And I think that I have just really enjoyed the journey of getting to know my voice and seeing what it's capable of, what it's not capable of.
Basically, I wake up at nine o'clock in the morning, go to different record stores, go to the studio, think up different ideas for songs. Just workin'.
I think when I was younger I wasn't really sure if I wanted to act, so I played around with a few different ideas. I wasn't sure whether I might want to write or whether I might want to do something in fashion.
If I don't think about anything, and start with a clean slate, in terms of what I have to do, a lot of different ideas come up, and I can think about things more openly.
