There are two mindsets people tend to have: explorer or settler. Our society has a “settler” mindset, our end goals are “finalizing” (home, marriage, career, etc.) in a world that was made for evolution, in selves that do nothing but grow and expand and change. People with “explorer” mindsets are able to actually enjoy what they have and experience it fully because they are inherently unattached
The church and capitalists responded to the rising egalitarian threat by creating a hierarchy which demonized women to divide the previously united peasants. Where all had previously worked together in a society, waged labour created class warfare and a new master-servant relationship between men and women.
Men had autonomy through land replaced by autonomy through wages and women were now unpaid slaves or, sometimes thanks to new abolition of laws against rape of the lower classes, prey.
A heretic who recanted was made to embroider a bundle of sticks (a faggot) to their sleeve in reminder of the fire they had escaped and may yet suffer. The term once used against argumentative women is now used as a pejorative against homosexuals, the other targeted practitioners of non-reproductive sex.
We will meet again somewhere Somewhere we will meet again You will not be you anymore I will not be me anymore We will meet again somewhere Somewhere we will meet again Destiny makes us meet each other Memories will always remain behind We will meet again somewhere Somewhere we will meet again You will not be you anymore I will not be me anymore...
Death can be as common as the common cold. We have taken everything for granted, but we forget that we are only travellers here for a short time. So don't play the bus driver when you don't know how to drive.
So long as man is entangled in the movements of the world and embarrassed by relations to the world — and he is so till the end of antiquity, because his heart still has to struggle for independence from the worldly — so long he is not yet spirit; for spirit is without body, and has no relations to the world and corporeality; for it the world does not exist, nor natural bonds, but only the spiritual, and spiritual bonds. Therefore man must first become so completely unconcerned and reckless, so altogether without relations, as the Skeptical culture presents him — so altogether indifferent to the world that even its falling in ruins would not move him — before he could feel himself as worldless; i.e., a spirit. And this is the result of the gigantic work of the ancients: the man knows himself as a being without relations and without a world, as spirit. Only now, after all worldly care has left him, is he all in all to himself, is he only for himself, i.e. he is spirit for the spirit, or, in plainer language, he cares only for the spiritual.
16. Natural language carries a special kind of virtual energy. The categorical apparatus and the propositional structure of any language are constantly rebuilding the cognitive system of a person, his way of perceiving, imagining and expressing the world and what is happening in this world. Therefore, be careful with natural language when you start thinking in that language.
