She wanted a new beginning, so she opened the door and walked boldly into the unknown.
Let faith be the fire that warms your heart.
Faith is why I'm here.
Right now is the time to repent.
The holy hour is now seek the highway of holiness.
Sufferings purifiers the soul.
The Maker is a miracle worker.
There are some ten thousand extant religious sects--each with its own cosmology, each with its own answer for the meaning of life and death. Most assert that the other 9,999 not only have it completely wrong but are instruments of evil, besides. None of the ten thousand has yet persuaded me to make the requisite leap of faith. In the absence of conviction, I've come to terms with the fact that uncertainty is an inescapable corollary of life. An abundance of mystery is simply part of the bargain--which doesn't strike me as something to lament. Accepting the essential inscrutability of existence, in any case, is surely preferable to its opposite: capitulating to the tyranny of intransigent belief.
To repent is to be reformed.
To desire heaven is to delight in holiness.
Faith isn't about logic...You cannot 'disprove' the things you study, any more than we can prove to you that the Hero will save us. We simply must believe it, and accept the things Preservation has taught us.
I AM IMPRESSED. “I have faith.” REALLY? IN WHAT PARTICULAR DEITY? “Oh, none of them.
And I say a final last prayer, this one in gratitude that there are people in the world who will protect kids with a fire that makes them sprint after cars, fight systems, curse with rage. It's enough to make you believe. Maybe not in symbols, maybe not in gods. But certainly in people.
Look to the religion and NOT to the people!
May we find strength to endure life changing scenes.
We won't ever experience the rewards of belief without the risk of belief. Acting on our belief in God in the present moment is risky. It requires courage and faith. But when we do it, we have a story to tell that echoes God's greater story - the story of a God who rescues, redeems, helps, heals, and restores those who place their faith in him. It's not enough for you and me to talk about belief, write about belief, or plan to act on our belief someday. We must grab opportunities when we see them, surrendering our fear to his certain providence and love.
Be spiritually independent enough that your relationship with the Savior doesn't depend on your circumstances or on what other people say and do.
Faith is a sure foundation.
He gifted the people He made with an echo of His creative power.
Its okay to lose faith when things don't go right. Just ensure your pathway and remember to shine bright.
