There is a preppy wabi-sabi to soft, faded khakis and cotton shirts, but it's not nice to be surrounded by things that are worn out or stained or used up.
Putting myself into categories is fun, and I think it also gives me insight into my own nature. Categories can be unhelpful, however, when they become too all-defining, or when they become an excuse.
