Kiley Reid (born 1984) is an American novelist. Her debut novel, Such a Fun Age, was a provocative page-turner and New York Times Bestseller that was published by G. P. Putnam's Sons on December 31, 2019. It tells the story of a young black woman who is wrongly accused of kidnapping while babysitting a child, and the events that ensue. Reid was born in Los Angeles, California in 1984 and raised in Tucson, Arizona, she studied acting at Marymount Manhattan College and creative writing at the University of Arkansas.
