Anna Renee Todd (born March 20, 1989) is an American bestselling author of the After series, the Spring Girls, and The Brightest Stars. She began her writing career on the social storytelling platform Wattpad, with After becoming the most-read series on the platform, with over 1.5 billion reads. The print edition of the After series was published in 2014 by Simon & Schuster and the film adaptation of the first book was released on April 12, 2019, by Aviron Pictures. Todd has been hailed by Cosmopolitan as β€œthe biggest literary phenomenon of her generation.” She serves as a producer and screenwriter on the upcoming film adaptation of After We Collided, the sequel to After. A native of Ohio, Anna currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son.
