You will find that joy, love, and hope are the strongest, most elevating emotions in our Universe. Discover for yourself how they can anchor the spirit, open your heart and bring to you.... endless possibilities.
I might not believe in the possibilities, but that in no way diminishes the realities of the opportunities.
Trust in yourself. Have faith in yourself. Have hope. Be open to possibilities.
Being thankful reminds us that if it’s broken it’s an opportunity.
I’d much rather have all of this be the ‘pigment’ of my imagination rather than a ‘figment,’ for at least it would all have some color.
Each of them had done their best. Matt was still his friend. For Meredith, maybe the day would come when she could look at him and not think “inhuman” — or at least not think it immediately and constantly. Maybe Bonnie, the moth, would be able to stay away from the unholy flame. Now, there was something to worry about. He could all too easily see Bonnie taking a walk on the very wild side with Damon. His brother had a soft spot for her already, she knew. But if either of them had a problem, he already knew what he had to do to find a plan for a solution. Just look up.
That which is possible is only the seedbed for that which is impossible. And therefore, if we neglect to plant liberally we might live lives full of the possible, but we will never hold the harvest of the impossible.
If something didn’t happen, it’s probably not that it couldn’t. Rather, it’s more that we chose not to believe that it could.
If we were to tally all of the potential that was never unleashed throughout the history of mankind, and if that tally was somehow held up in front of us, I would hope against all hope that it would horrify us to a point of such despair that we would be driven to insure that such a tragedy would never be given any shred of space anywhere in our own lives nor in the lives of any life that we might touch for the rest of our lives.
God takes the impossible and makes it the inevitable.
One of the greatest plagues that besets our humanity is our inability to believe in the totality of who we are and the utter vastness of what we can achieve. And because of this crippling disbelief, we settle for the lesser lives that we were never built for. Yet despite the enormity of our skepticism, it is well within our reach to smash such a crippling disbelief for, in fact, that is the very thing that we were built to do.
I think that the stories that God has told and the things that He has done seem utterly implausible to us only because we lock Him into the tiny rubrics that the stories He has told and the things that He has done invite us outside of.
I don’ know if we believe that things can’t be done. Rather, I think that we’re too fearful to believe that maybe they can.
I choose not be what the world is. Rather, I choose to be what the world says I cannot be.
If ‘what is’ defines my view of the world, then ‘what could be’ will become an ideal with no breath of life in it. Hence, I refuse to leave something so lofty without the ability to breath, for once it is breathing it will start running. And I can think of few things more electrifying as an ideal that is running over ‘what is’ as it is raising up ‘what will be.
Maybe true beauty is when something quite ‘simple’ exercises whatever bit of faith it holds, and in the exercising it suddenly discovers that the ‘simple thing’ that it always thought itself to be only served to hide the ‘great thing’ that it always was.
After all, tomorrow the sun will rise with the lights of endless possibilities. Don’t dwell in the darkness of yesterday.
Fear not! Uncertainty is the fertile ground of endless possibilities.
The ultimate purpose of life is to live with the excitement of gaining new experiences and embrace unknown and uncertain possibilities.
In between your ears resides a world of imaginations full of exciting possibilities.
