Kristin Hannah (born September 25, 1960) is an award-winning American writer. Hannah was born in California and graduated from law school at the University of Puget Sound and practised law before becoming a writer. Her novel, The Nightingale, was a runaway success and has been published in 43 languages, becoming an international blockbuster. The Nightingale also won the Goodreads and People’s Choice Awards. Other works by Kristin Hannah include Winter Garden, Night Road, and Firefly Lane. She currently lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington, with her husband and their son.
